The AWS outage that caused widespread global disruption for about half of Monday has officially been resolved, but numerous lingering issues remain that could take days or even weeks to fully resolve.
British telecommunications service provider Colt Telecom has attributed the multi-day service disruption to a cyber attack claimed by the prolific WarLock ransomware group.
Lyca Mobile said the service disruption caused by the cyber attack “impacted some national and international calling” in all 60 countries in which it operated except for the United States, Australia, Ukraine and Tunisia.
