Jonathan currently serves as CISO and SVP of Customer Solutions Architecture and Engineering at Qualys. His career spans from CISO and infosec roles with the State of Colorado, Qualys, and Optiv to leading the Microsoft Detection and Response Team, which responded to the NOBELIUM threat actor campaign impacting SolarWinds. Jonathan works with the Cloud Security Alliance, Center for Internet Security, and IANS to support the broader cybersecurity community and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University, where he mentors CISO Executive Education Program students. Early in his career, Jonathan served as Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy Reserves.
