Jörn Wittmann
Managing Director at SCOPE Europe
Jörn Wittmann is the Managing Director of SCOPE Europe, a Brussels-based monitoring body for Codes of Conduct, and the Managing Director of its holding SRIW (Self-Regulation Information Economy), a German non-profit organization. SRIW was founded by German and international companies of the digital economy to promote consumer and data protection through self- and coregulation, and serve as a platform for the development, implementation, enforcement and evaluation of various Codes of Conduct related to this purpose. Jörn Wittmann is a jurist and certified data protection officer. Before joining SRIW, he worked at the Department of Civil Law, Commercial and Economic Law, Comparative Law, Multimedia- and Telecommunication Law at the University of Göttingen, Germany.
