Meegan Brooks is an associate in Steptoe & Johnson LLP’s San Francisco office who represents retailers and consumer product companies on array of federal of state regulations, including many privacy-related matters and class actions. Her privacy work includes California’s CCPA, Song-Beverly Credit Card Act, and “Shine the Light” law, the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act, and state/federal data breach laws. Meegan has been designated as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals and received her J.D. with honors from the University of Michigan Law School in 2013.
