Pascal Paillier
CTO at Zama
Pascal is a researcher and entrepreneur in cryptography, and the CTO at Zama. He has spent the past 25 years inventing new cryptographic techniques for critical industries. From embedded security to whitebox crypto to homomorphic encryption, Pascal has contributed groundbreaking research in corporate environments. He is a member of the IACR and an expert at ISO, where he contributes to standardization efforts for cryptography. Pascal has authored over 60 academic papers, received "Best Paper Award" at Asiacrypt 2005, and is one of the most widely cited authors in homomorphic encryption with 12k+ citations. Prior to Zama, Pascal was CEO at CryptoExperts and head of Cryptography Innovation at Gemalto. He holds an engineering degree and a PhD in cryptography from Telecom ParisTech.
