Scott M. Giordano is an attorney with more than 20 years of legal, technology, and risk management consulting experience. He currently serves as Spirion's VP of data protection and is an IAPP Fellow of Information Privacy and a Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP).
The Ohio law represented a novel approach to data protection by providing safe harbor if the entity’s cyber security program conforms to industry recognized cybersecurity frameworks or federal regulations cited in the Act.
