Yoshihiro Satoh
Security and Privacy Consultant
Yoshihiro Satoh is a renowned security and privacy consultant and former Asia region privacy officer at HP Inc. He is also a former Asia region manager of IT security consulting, Business-IT alignment evangelist at Hewlett-Packard and former Adviser and Assistant counsellor at the National Information Security Centre (NISC), cabinet secretariat, government of Japan.As one of the original members of the National Information Security Centre (NISC) of Japan government, he designed and launched the information security management system for all government agencies by developing comprehensive standards for information security measures. For the past decade, he has also been involved in HP’ s own privacy protection measures. In addition, he developed METI’ s safeguard guidelines for Japan’ s personal information protection law and joined the cabinet secretariat working group for the revision of that law.
